West Abdullah Al-Mubarak 1, 2, 3

West Abdullah Mubarak is a new residential area being developed under the ownership of the Public Authority of Housing Welfare (PAHW) to provide affordable housing for Kuwaiti citizens along with all the necessary services and amenities. This area is to the west of the Kuwait University Medical Campus in Al-Shadadiya, approximately 20 km south-west of Kuwait City. In addition, there will be several health clinics, schools, shops, mosques, police stations, supermarkets, and various other facilities located in multiple blocks to ensure that there are enough services and facility spaces to provide for the local community.

SADAFCO Car Park

Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) has installed and commissioned a (PV) - diesel hybrid system that delivers up to 40% of the facility's daytime energy requirements. The solar plant is 226KW in size and is made of CdTe thin film technology! The system communicate and operate in sync with the existing diesel generators to provide the needed power for the facility.

Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO), established in 1976, aims to promote a healthy and clean environment by utilizing high quality food products and minimizing carbon dioxide emissions to build a greener future.

Marina Hotel

The Marina Hotel offers 5-star luxury rooms overlooking Kuwait Bay, just a 10-minute drive from Kuwait City. It features 2 outdoor pools, a spa and its own private beach, as well as 5 star restaurants and a fully equipped health and fitness center. It is renowned for its luxurious and spacious rooms as well as its prime location.

KNPC

Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) was founded in 1960 to oversee the management and exploitation of Kuwait’s oil resources, which started to develop into Kuwait’s main source of income allowing the government to provide for the society’s welfare and finance its overall development. Domestically, KNPC is responsible for the sale and distribution of all petroleum products in the local market.

Kuwait National Guard

The Kuwait National Guard (KNG) is an independent combat institution tasked mainly with the defense of Kuwait and its territories. There are several KNG camps in various locations around Kuwait, which all contain a variety of facilities including headquarter buildings, clinics, supermarkets, warehouses, stores, dining & entertainment facilities, and central car park facilities. One of their largest camps is the Al-Tahrir camp located in Subhan, which has a large car parking facility with a maximum capacity of 1200 cars spanning 7 floors (2 below ground level and 5 above ground level) and a shaded roof area.

Eastern Car Park

The Complex of Ministries has an area of 150,000 m2 and consists of 19 blocks accommodating six ministries: The Public Authority for Housing Welfare, The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, The Ministry of Social Affairs, The Ministry of Justice, and The Ministry of Finance. Aside from the main ministry buildings, the complex has major car parking areas in the east, south & north ends.

Bobyan Hybrid PV-GenSet Plant

This Ministry of Defense project is essentially Hybrid Solar PhotoVoltaic – Diesel system that provides all power requirements for the Naval Forces Camp on Boubyan Island. Comprised of 23.1 kWp of installed PV hybridized with 160 kVA of Diesel Genset capacity.
